RICHMOND, Va. – The Loyola Chicago women's volleyball team won its ninth match in a row Saturday afternoon, sweeping VCU by a 3-0 margin.

Taylor Ventuo, who had 11 kills on just one error a night ago, was flawless at the net Saturday against the Rams. The middle blocker finished the day with a team-high nine kills on no errors for a .643 hitting percentage. Venuto's fellow middle,
Anna Feldkamp, was also effective at the net to the tune of six kills on one error (.455 hitting percentage).

Amanda Berkley. "Taylor and Anna had another productive night in the middle and our team served well overall. I thought we also passed well and were able to run an efficient offense."

Karlie McNabb and
Emily Banitt had seven kills each while
Bree Borum dished out 31 assists to go along with eight digs and five kills.
Olivia Lovett anchored the defense with 13 digs while
Addie Barnes chipped in 11 digs.

It was a nearly identical match to Friday evening's contest, with an identical opening set score and a total of five points differentiating the second and third sets. The Ramblers were dominant at the service line, owning a 9-1 advantage in aces. Barnes led the way with three while McNabb and Lovett had two each.

Loyola also dominated the net, picking up five blocks while VCU was held without a block. The Ramblers had their best offensive night of the season with a season-best .319 hitting percentage while limiting VCU to a .099 hitting percentage. It was the second consecutive match, and third time this season, in which the Ramblers held their opponents below .100 on attacking.

The Ramblers return home to take on Saint Louis on Tuesday, Oct. 24. First serve is set for 6 p.m. inside Gentile Arena.
