Allison Guth of the Loyola University Chicago women's basketball team announced the signing of six National Letters of Intent, bolstering the program's 2024-25 roster.
Holly Dolny, 5-8, F, Werribee, Victoria, Australia (Heathdale Christian College)
The only international student-athlete in the class so far, hailing from Werribee, Victoria, Australia … Graduated from Heathdale Christian College in 2023 … Played club hoops for Wyndham Basketball under Gerard Hillier in Werribee … Competed with Recruiting Boost, an Australian travel team … U20 Girls Field Champion (2022) … Also played volleyball … Received Heathdale Christian College's Achievement Award for Engineering and Mathematics.
Guth on Dolny: "Holly is a fantastic addition to our program. She had an impressive high school career, and we were impressed with her on the travel circuit where she played for Recruiting Boost. Holly will immediately impact us with her ability to shoot the ball from beyond the arc, her basketball IQ, and ability to navigate the floor with a good feel for the game. Holly is a skilled basketball player who values assisting her teammates, while also carrying a scoring edge. Brooklyn Vaughn, 6-0, F, Maumee, Ohio (Central Catholic)
Vaughn joins the Maroon and Gold after playing basketball at Central Catholic High School and for her club team, Legends U, under Bryce McKey … Named D-II All-Ohio First Team in 2022-23 and Second Team in 2023-24 … District 7 Player of the Year … TRAC Player of the Year … TRAC First Team member … A National Honors Society and honor roll member who boasts a 4.7 cumulative GPA … Has nine siblings.
