CHICAGO (Nov. 11, 2023) – It's a day of celebration at the Norville Athletics Center! Head coach Allison Guth of the Loyola University Chicago women's basketball team announced the signing of six National Letters of Intent, bolstering the program's 2024-25 roster.

Holly Dolny, 5-8, F, Werribee, Victoria, Australia (Heathdale Christian College)
The only international student-athlete in the class so far, hailing from Werribee, Victoria, Australia … Graduated from Heathdale Christian College in 2023 … Played club hoops for Wyndham Basketball under Gerard Hillier in Werribee … Competed with Recruiting Boost, an Australian travel team … U20 Girls Field Champion (2022) … Also played volleyball … Received Heathdale Christian College's Achievement Award for Engineering and Mathematics.

Guth on Dolny: "Holly is a fantastic addition to our program. She had an impressive high school career, and we were impressed with her on the travel circuit where she played for Recruiting Boost. Holly will immediately impact us with her ability to shoot the ball from beyond the arc, her basketball IQ, and ability to navigate the floor with a good feel for the game. Holly is a skilled basketball player who values assisting her teammates, while also carrying a scoring edge. Kendall Hendrix, 5-11, W, West Bloomfield, Mich. (West Bloomfield)
Will graduate from West Bloomfield High School in the spring of 2024 … A workhorse on the boards and in the classroom, she earned All-League honors and All-Academic plaudits at West Bloomfield under head coach Darin McCallister … Played club hoops for Michigan Crossover EYBL under the direction of Emez Olivers and Jessica Adams as a wing/small forward … 2024 McDonald's All American Games Nominee ... Alexa Kinas, 5-8, PG/G, Kaukauna, Wis. (Kaukauna)
A tri-sport student-athlete hailing from Kaukauna, Wis. … Racked up 20-plus All-Conference awards and 12 varsity letters playing basketball, golf, track, and cross country at Kaukauna … Helped her school earn a Wisconsin cross country state championship … Played AAU basketball for Wisconsin Flight Elite under the tutelage of Derek Peppler and Nic Levy … Four-time honor roll nominee.

Guth on Kinas: "Alexa is a tremendous addition to our program. She had both an impressive high school and travel ball career where she played for the EYBL Wisconsin Flight Elite. Alexa will immediately impact us with her motor, basketball IQ, and ability to score the ball. Alexa is a highly skilled point guard who values setting the table while also being a multi-level scorer. She defends with integrity and has athleticism and a skill set that is special. Yasmyn Palmer, 6-2, PF, Southfield, Mich. (Cranbrook Kingswood)
Originally from Southfield, Mich., Palmer joins the Ramblers after a successful career at Cranbrook Kingswood High School … Under head coach Paige Sickmiller, earned All-Conference, All-Catholic, and Detroit Free Press All-Area accolades … Also played volleyball in high school … Dean's List student-athlete … Played club hoops with Michigan Crossover EYBL under Monica Brown and Jessica Adams.

Guth on Palmer: "Yasmyn is an exciting addition to our program. She had an impressive travel ball career playing with the EYBL Michigan Crossover, and will immediately impact us with her presence on the block. Yasmyn is a physical and skilled post player who values rebounds and exposing her opponents with her strength and doing the work early. We are eager to utilize her ability to draw attention to our interior offense, while creating perimeter opportunities for her teammates. Brooklyn Vaughn, 6-0, F, Maumee, Ohio (Central Catholic)
Vaughn joins the Maroon and Gold after playing basketball at Central Catholic High School and for her club team, Legends U, under Bryce McKey … Named D-II All-Ohio First Team in 2022-23 and Second Team in 2023-24 … District 7 Player of the Year … TRAC Player of the Year … TRAC First Team member … A National Honors Society and honor roll member who boasts a 4.7 cumulative GPA … Has nine siblings.
