CHICAGO (February 10, 2023) - Loyola University Chicago swings out east for a pair of road contests, starting Saturday, February 11 when the Ramblers take on Richmond. Tip-off inside the Robins Center is set for 3:00 p.m. (CT) on ESPNU, with Robert Lee and John Williams on the call. Saturday's game can also be heard on the Rambler Sports Network, with Jeff Hagedorn and Christian Thomas calling the action live from Richmond.

Braden Norris scored a career-high 25 points and matched his career best in field goals (8) and 3-point field goals (7) Wednesday as Saint Joseph's pulled away late in the 83-71 decision.
Ben Schwieger did a little bit of everything, finishing with 13 points, six rebounds and a game-high four assists while
Philip Alston nearly recorded a double-double with nine points and a game-high 11 rebounds.

Richmond/Loyola – The Series
Saturday will be the third meeting all-time between the Ramblers and Spiders, but the first on-campus game in the series history. Loyola took the first meeting, a 82-66 victory on Nov. 19, 2018 at the Fort Meyers Tip-Off before Richmond responded with a 75-73 victory on Dec. 18, 2020 in Indianapolis.

Braden Norris scored a team-high 21 points in the setback to the Spiders during the 2020-21 campaign, finishing 8-for-12 from the field and 5-for-9 from beyond the arc. Down by 15 at the break to the 25th-ranked Spiders, Loyola stormed back in the second half to cut the game to a two-point contest in the closing seconds but was unable to complete the furious comeback attempt.
Scouting Richmond
Richmond enters the game 12-13 overall and 5-7 in Atlantic 10 play. The Spiders have lost five of their last six contests, including a 107-105 double overtime game at George Washington last time out. Tyler Burton leads Richmond's offense with 18.9 points per game, second best in the conference. Burton also leads the team and ranks fifth in the A10 with 7.6 rebounds per game. Burton's 36:34 minutes per game rank as the 13th-most in Division I basketball this season while his 154 free throw attempts rank 27th nationally.
