LAST TIME OUT
Loyola fell 57-55 in heartbreaking fashion during its first-ever meeting with Davidson Wednesday night. However, Loyola stormed back to tie the score in the final minute. A driving layup by Sam Galanopoulos evened the score at 55 with 23 seconds left, but Davidson hit the game-winner with 1.7 seconds on its final possession. Sitori Tanin recorded her second double-double with 15 points and 11 boards, while Maya Chandler led Loyola with 18 points. Galanopoulos also reached double figures with 11 points. Loyola scored its most points (19) in the first quarter of an A-10 game this season. The Ramblers had only four turnovers combined in the first, second and fourth quarters, but eight total in the third period alone.
