RALEIGH, N.C. (March 25, 2023) - The first outdoor meet came to an end Saturday for Loyola. Four more Ramblers set personal bests, including
Miguel Abaitua who notched his second of the weekend.
Erin Connors tipped off the final day with the 400 meter hurdles. Connors tied her personal best time of 1:03.51, which helped her win her heat in the event.
Jevan Terry followed up Connors and took seventh in his heat in the 200 meter dash with a time of 22.08.
Four Ramblers then saw action in the men's 800. Abaitua led the pack with a personal best time of 1:50.46 to claim second in his heat.
Jason Clayton and
Gabe Smit earned top-five finishes in their respective heats. Clayton posted a time of 1:52.11 for fourth, while Smit's personal best of 1:52.27 took third.
The 800 wrapped with
Cameron Arkesteyn finishing with a time of 1:58.30.
Loyola will return to action Friday, March 31. A few Ramblers will head west to the Stanford Invitational.
