CHICAGO (March 31, 2023) - Loyola (10-16, 4-2) hits the road for its next seven games. First on the slate is a trip to New York to take on St. Bonaventure (6-16, 1-5). It marks the first meeting between the Ramblers and Bonnies since the start of the 2020 season. Due to weather, the weekend schedule has been altered. Friday will feature one game with a 3 p.m. CT start. Saturday's doubleheader will move up to 8 a.m. CT.

LEADING OFF
• The Ramblers take a five-game win streak on the road for their next seven games. The trip opens in New York this weekend with a three-game series at St. Bonaventure.
• Loyola hosted former MVC foe Bradley for a mid-week doubleheader.
Andie Broniewicz led the Ramblers to a 2-0 win in game one. She tossed her first career no-hitter and eighth no-hitter in program history. She and
Peyton Pepkowski have both tallied one this season.
• Both Broniewicz and Pepkowski had five strikeouts vs. the Braves. Broniewicz's came in her no-hitter, while Pepkowski pitched the final 2.1 innings of game two and retired five.
• The Ramblers and Braves the combined for 25 hits in game two. Loyola came out on top, 10-7. The Ramblers notched a season-high 15 hits. It was the first time this year they've reached double-figures.
• Against the Braves,
Hannah Nalley went 4-for-6 at the plate. She tallied a double and a run scored.
• Loyola also swept its home opening A-10 series against St. Joseph's. They took the first game 2-1 in nine innings. On day two, Loyola then shutout the Hawks 4-0 and run-ruled them 9-1 for the sweep.
• Broniewicz earned a win and one-hitter ahead of her no hitter vs. Bradley. It marked back-to-back shutouts for the sophomore.
• Thomas and Barnett are both over .300 at the plate heading into the weekend. Thomas leads the team hitting .366, while Barnett upped her average to .316.

Alicia Abbott is in her fourth year at the helm. During her tenure, the Ramblers are 52-84.
SCOUTING THE ST. BONAVENTURE BONNIES
The Bonnies are 6-16 overall and 1-5 in A-10 play to start the 2023 campaign. They snapped a three-game skid earlier this week with a doubleheader split against Youngstown State. YSU took game one, 8-0, in five innings, while the Bonnies rallied 4-2 in game two. St. Bonaventure's lone league win this season was at Fordham in the series opener last weekend. As a team, the Bonnies are hitting .183 this season with just 90 hits in over 430 at-bats.
BONNIES TO WATCH
• Brooke Bobbey leads the Bonnies hitting .298 this season. She also leads the team with 17 hits, including two doubles and two triples. Bobbey has five RBI and nine runs. Her nine runs is a team-best.
• Juanita Wolak is the only other player with double-figure hits this season at 14. She is hitting .275 and has two RBI and six runs.
•Emily Phelan has made 17 appearances and 16 starts for the Bonnies. Phelan has a 4.37 ERA and 5-10 record. She has two shutouts and 68 strikeouts over 81 innings of work for the Bonnies.
