Allison Guth announced the signing of three high school standouts, Audrey Deptula, Maddie Petroelje, and Jazelle Young, to national letters of intent. All three will join the Ramblers for the 2023-24 academic year.
Audrey Deptula, 6-0, G, Verona, Wis. (Middleton High School)
Ranked 21st overall recruit in Wisconsin and seventh at her position by Prep Girls Hoops … Averaged 16.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.0 steals per game as a junior last season … Named to Big Eight All-Conference First Team … Received All-Area Honorable Mention honors … Team Captain … Helped lead Middleton to conference, regional, and sectional crowns on their way to a berth in the state championship game … Plays at the club level for Wisconsin Flight Elite, winning the 2022 EYBL Championship (Louisville) and Under Armour Association National Championship in 2021 … Honor Roll student … Hails from same high school team and club program as current Rambler

Maddie Petroelje, 6-1, G, Hudsonville, Mich. (Hudsonville High School)
Ranked top player at her position and second overall recruit in Michigan … Averaged 13.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.2 assists as a junior … First Team All-State and All-Conference as a junior and sophomore … Honorable Mention All-State and All-Conference as a freshman … Named to MLive's Girls Basketball Dream Team each season … Led the state of Michigan in 3-point shooting percentage in each of the past two seasons … Ranks among the top 20 leading 3-pointer shooters in Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan history … Helped lead Hudsonville to a state title as a sophomore and three consecutive district and conference championships … Earned Michigan Prep Girls Hoops Player of the Year as a sophomore … Named to Academic All-State Team as a junior … Plays club with Michigan Basketball Academy club, helping claim a 2021 Under Armour Rise championship.
Guth on Petroelje: "Maddie is a wonderful addition to our program. She had a tremendous high school career and is eager to take what she has learned thus far and put it to work here at Loyola. Maddie is a skilled shooter who can really convert from downtown. We are eager to utilize her ability to create offense both beyond the arc and off the bounce, while using both her length and basketball intelligence to defend in our system. Jazelle Young, 5-11, F, Chicago, Ill. (Kenwood Academy)
Ranked 20th overall recruit in Illinois and fourth at her position by Prep Girls Hoops … Averaged 10.2 points and 5.7 rebounds as a junior … Helped lead Kenwood Academy to Class 4A regional championship, back-to-back conference championships and Public League runner-up finish … Plays AAU with Mar Irvin Lady Fire … Honor Roll student and member of National Honor Society.

We are eager to utilize her ability to create second chance opportunities for scoring with her innate ability to crash the glass.
