KETTERING, Ohio – The Ramblers wrapped up 2024-25 fall action Tuesday afternoon at the Dayton Flyer Invitational. Loyola Chicago placed 10
th with a final 54-hole score of 893 (292-297-304).
The Ramblers were led by
Ryan Walsh who tied for 21

"Not what we wanted today to finish our fall," said head coach
Erik Hoops. "We had accomplished some goals we have had for this program for that junior class' entire careers - give ourselves chances to win trophies, and let's give it our best shot. We got it done last week in Nebraska, which again, was so much fun. But we need to use days like today, days like the final day at Drake, the final day at Davidson, those need to be the fuel to our fire for the next three months this off-season."
Sebastian Kasun was Loyola's next top finisher at 37
th with a score of 225 (74-69-82). His second-round score of 69 matches his career-best round score he last met two weeks ago at the Throw Down Up Top.
Dori Lee and
Charlie Kulwin were right behind Kasun with a scores of 227. Lee finished 74-78-75 over the three rounds, while Kulwin shot 71-79-77.
The team performance was capped with
Zach Mulhearn in 51
st. He posted a score of 228 (73-76-79).
Also competing for Loyola was
Connor Woodin as an individual. He finished with a three-round score of 240 (82-78-80).
"At the end of the day, we have bigger goals for this season, and that's to win an A-10 Championship," continued Hoops. "We've proven this year we can put ourselves in that spot. Now we need to have the final drive to get us over the line."
Spring action for the Ramblers will resume on Feb. 10 at the Atlantic 10/MAC Match Play in Dade City, Florida.
