LEADING OFF
After opening the Atlantic 10 slate with three straight home matches, the Ramblers take the next four on the road. Loyola Chicago and Rhode Island will meet for a pair of matches this weekend. The Rams look for their first A-10 win, while the Ramblers look to improve on their win streak.

WEEKEND SCHEDULE
Friday, Oct. 4 • at Rhode Island • 5 p.m. CT
Saturday, Oct. 5 • at Rhode Island • 1 p.m. CT

QUICK HITS
• Loyola won its last two matches with a sweep over Davidson last weekend and a 3-1 win against Saint Louis earlier this week. The Ramblers moved up to third in the A-10 standings as they sit 2-1.
• Both Bree Borum and Marta Cvitkovic posted double-doubles in the win. It marks the seventh for Borum this season and second for Cvitkovic.
• Borum had a season-best 45 assists and 13 digs. She added six kills and an ace for Loyola. Her 45 assists is tied seventh on the A-10 game highs list this season.
• Cvitkovic matched her season-high 18 kills and recorded 12 digs. Cvitkovic also tallied two aces and a block against the Billikens.
• Cvitkovic's first double-double of the season came against Davidson in game one. The outside hitter had 13 kills and 10 digs. It also capped a five-match streak with double-figure kills.
• Borum has had six of her seven double-doubles in the last eight matches, which includes her fourth career triple-double vs. DePaul with 10 kills, 44 assists, and 16 digs.
• Joining Borum and Cvitkovic with double-digit kills was Ann Marie Remmes and Avary DeBlieck. Remmes had 12 on the night, while DeBlieck had a season-high 10 and hit .471.
• DeBlieck is one of the leagues most efficient hitters, ranking second in hitting percentage (3.61).
• Through the first three matches of conference play, Loyola ranks third, averaging 13.91 kills per set and 2.18 blocks per set. The Ramblers are first with 22 aces and 16.09 digs per set.
• The Ramblers closed the non-conference slate at 5-7 with two final wins over UIC and DePaul in the Chicago Cup. Loyola took UIC to its first five-set match of the year, while following up with a 3-1 win over DePaul.
• Six Ramblers had double-figure kills over the two-matches led by Cvitkovic who tallied 33. Borum had 88 assists and 34 digs to lead both categories.
• Head coach Amanda Berkley is in her seventh season at the helm. Her overall record with the Ramblers is 121-72.

SCOUTING RHODE ISLAND
The Rams are 5-10 entering the weekend and still looking for their first league win after being swept by No. 24 Dayton in a pair of matches opening weekend. Rhode Island has dropped its last four matches after beating Marist 3-1 back on Sept. 20. URI was tabbed 10th in the preseason poll earlier this year after finishing 1-17 in A-10 play last season.

Havyn Rolle leads the Rams with 128 kills this season, averaging 2.25 per set.  She had a season-high 16 against Merrimack, and it was one of five games this season with double-digit kills. Rolle is also one of the team's best blocker. She averages just under one block per set and had a career-high 12 blocks vs. NIU.

SERIES HISTORY
Loyola leads the all-time series 4-1. The Ramblers have swept all four meetings in Atlantic 10 play.
