Loyola Preps for Final Home Weekend

LEADING OFF
Loyola Chicago closes its home schedule Friday and Saturday with an A-10 series against Fordham. The Ramblers have swept their last five games, while the Rams dropped four of their last five. This is the second to last weekend of regular season action before the conference tournament gets underway in Dayton, Ohio.

QUICK HITS
• Loyola has swept its last five matches, including the last three on the road at Saint Louis and Duquesne.
• Bree Borum was tabbed the A-10 Player of the Week following her performance against the Billikens and Dukes. The senior setter totaled 25 kills, 95 assists, 31 digs, one ace, and five blocks over the three matches, averaging 2.78 kills per set, 10.56 assists per set, and 3.44 digs per set.
• Borum has posted a double-double in the last eight matches, which includes one triple-double. It marks the third triple-double of the year for her. She had 10 kills, 29 assists, and 10 digs in match one vs. Duquesne.
• Her three triple-doubles this season leads the A-10 and ranks 10th in the country. She has seven over her career after posting four last year.
• Over the three-match stretch last week, Marta Cvitkovic led the Ramblers with 30 kills. She tallied a team-high 12 at Saint Louis and added 10 more against Duquesne in match two.
• Sam Falk played libero in all three matches. She tallied 40 assists, averaging 4.44 digs per set. Falk also tallied 16 assists. She had six vs. the Billikens and followed up with five in each match vs. the Dukes.
• In conference only play, Ann Marie Remmes is hitting .436, which is the best of any A-10 player. She has 121 kills on 225 total attacks with just 23 errors. Overall, Remmes is hitting .356, ranking 56th in the NCAA.
• Borum joins Remmes on the conference only list at No. 5. She's hitting .313 in A-10 play with 101 kills. Borum also lands at No. 2 on the assist leaderboards, averaging 9.42 in A-10 action.
• Head coach Amanda Berkley is in her seventh season at the helm. Her overall record with the Ramblers is 128-76.

SCOUTING FORDHAM
The Rams are 7-16 overall and 3-11 in A-10 play heading into the weekend. They're tied for last in the conference standings. On the road this season, Fordham faces a 3-6 record. The last road win came at Duquesne back on Oct. 18. The Rams have also beaten Rhode Island and George Mason in A-10 play this season.

Whitley Moody leads the Rams with 308 kills this season, averaging 3.71 per set. Moody has 18 matches this season with at least 10 kills. She had 25 and 20 in back-to-back matches vs. Duquesne. In non-conference play, Moody also had 24 vs. Columbia.

SERIES HISTORY
Loyola leads the all-time series, 4-0. All four wins have been since joining the A-10 and sweeps. Borum had a 32-assist, 12-dig double-double vs. the Rams last season in their final meeting.
