CHICAGO – Loyola Chicago softball opens its second season of Atlantic 10 play on the road at George Washington this weekend. The Ramblers and Revolutionaries will play a doubleheader Saturday and single game Sunday. First pitch is 11 a.m. CT both days.

Andie Broniewicz sit in the individual top-10. Pepkowski's 2.63 ERA ranks fifth, while Broniewicz sits ninth with 3.42.
• Pepkowski's opponents are only hitting .217 this season, which ranks second. She is also third with 57 strikeouts.

Alicia Abbott is in her fifth season at the helm. She has 79 career wins with the Ramblers.
Scouting George Washington
The Revolutionaries sit at 11-11 riding a four-game win streak into the A-10 opener this weekend. GW has the second-best batting average in the league (.287) and the most hits (165). Three Revolutionaries sit in the league's top-10 batters.
Alena Ramirez leads GW batting .396 this season. She has 21 hits, including five doubles and a triple. She also has 11 RBI and five runs scored. In the circle, Cece Smith is tied as the league's leader in ERA (1.89) and has the most wins (9). Smith was tabbed the A-10 Pitcher of the Week last week. She had 14 strikeouts in an extra-inning battle over UMES.
