DAVIDSON, N.C. – Loyola Chicago beat Davidson on the road Wednesday night, 69-59.
Miles Rubin filled the box score, matching his career-high 13 points to go with nine boards, five blocks, two steals, and one assist.
With the five blocks, Rubin tied the program's single-season record of 66 set back in the 1984-85 season.
The Ramblers improve to 22-8 overall and 14-3 in the A-10.
"Davidson had been playing the top teams in the league extremely close coming into this game," said head coach
Drew Valentine. "They're a good team, and I thought early in the first half we weren't doing a good job getting the looks we wanted to get. We locked into our game plan, and we turned up our intensity, especially going into the second half. We amped up our urgency defensively, and offensively our execution and pace got better."
