CHICAGO – The Ramblers are on a four-game win streak after sweeping the Bonnies at home over the weekend. They look to keep momentum rolling with a midweek doubleheader vs. Saint Louis at Hoyne Field. Loyola Chicago and SLU will start at 2 p.m. Wednesday.

• Loyola Chicago improved to 19-19 overall and 8-7 in league play. The Ramblers are currently tied fifth in the Atlantic 10 standings heading into a five-game week at home.

Peyton Pepkowski started the sweep out with a 4-0 shutout in game one where she retired a career-high 17 batters.

Bailey Johnson won her first game of the year in the circle. She retired four batters after coming in to pitch the remaining five innings of action.
• Loyola's pitching continues to be one of the best units in the league. The Ramblers rank third in ERA (3.25) and first in shutouts (9), strikeouts (201), and opponent batting average (.243).

Sydney Barnett hit .800 (4-5) over the three-game series. She tallied a double, home run, three RBI, and a run. Barnett was walked four times. She picked up her second Player of the Week honor after the performance.
• Barnett moved up to seventh in the A-10 batting .347 this season. She sits third in RBI (35) and second in homers (9).

Scouting Saint Louis
The Billikens hold a 23-14 overall record and rank second in the league standings at 11-4. Saint Louis has won five of its last six league games. The one loss falling vs. Rhode Island in the series opener last weekend. SLU holds the second-best batting average (.292) and ERA (3.00) in the league.
Billikens are hitting over .300 this season led by Cami Newbanks at .396 for first in the league. Newbanks has 42 hits, including 10 doubles and seven homers. She's brought in 40 runs and scored 23. Taylor Hochman has pitched the most innings for SLU at 115.0. She has a 2.37 ERA with 80 strikeouts this season. Hochman is 13-6 overall with three shutouts.
