Men's Basketball Unveils 2024-25 Schedule

The Ramblers will play at Gentile Arena 18 times, including one exhibition game, and appear on a national network 14 times.

CHICAGO – Loyola Chicago men's basketball announced its full 2024-25 schedule Tuesday afternoon. This follows the non-conference schedule release from early August as the Atlantic 10 Conference has completed the league slate tipping off Dec. 31.

The Ramblers will play at Gentile Arena 18 times, including one exhibition game, and appear on a national network 14 times. Loyola will see neutral site non-conference action up in Milwaukee against San Francisco at Fiserv Forum on Dec. 15 and play in the 2024 Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic Dec. 22-25.

"We couldn't be more excited for the upcoming season," said head coach Drew Valentine. "The guys have put in a ton of hard work on and off the court already this season and can't wait to be back in Gentile Arena around one of the best home atmospheres in the country. We are also very fortunate to play in great locations for some neutral site games against a really competitive field."

Action will tipoff Oct. 29 with the season's lone exhibition vs. Calumet St. Joseph at home. The regular season will then tipoff at home with Chicago State making the quick trip north to Rogers Park on Nov. 4.

Loyola will also see Detroit Mercy (Nov. 7), Eureka College (Nov. 10), Southern Utah (Nov. 19), Tulsa (Nov. 23), Eastern Michigan (Dec. 3), South Florida (Dec. 7), and Canisius (Dec. 18) on its home court.

The Ramblers vs. Bulls will be the first TV game of the season as its slated for an 11:30 a.m. tipoff on USA.

Loyola's lone non-conference road game will come against the 2024-25 reigning Ivy League regular season champion, Princeton, on Nov. 15.

Atlantic 10 play will open on Dec. 31 with the Ramblers having a bye following their trip to Hawaii. They will tip-off the conference portion of their schedule at home on Jan. 4 against VCU on CBS Sports Network.

"It's our third year in the league, and we can't wait to continue building off what we've accomplished and chase another championship," continued Valentine. "To go from last place in our first year to a share of the regular season title last year, it just shows what we can do when our guys are bought into the culture. We have a lot of respect for our A10 opponents and can't wait to get back on the court with them in some tough road venues. It's going to be an exciting season, and we can't wait to get back out there and work."

The Ramblers will hit the road for a pair of games in Philadelphia. Loyola will play at La Salle on Jan. 8 and wrap the trip at Saint Joseph's on Jan. 11 with another CBSSN tip-off.

Loyola will have two more home games and road games in January. The Ramblers welcome Rhode Island (Jan. 15) and Fordham (Jan. 22) to Gentile, while they head out to Dayton (Jan. 18) and George Mason (Jan. 29). The games against URI and Dayton can be watched on CBSSN.

February action tips off with a pair of home games. Loyola will play Saint Joseph's on Feb. 1 and St. Bonaventure on Jan 4. Both will be nationally televised.

The Ramblers will then head out to take on the 2023-24 A-10 Tournament Champions in Pittsburgh. Loyola and Duquesne meet on Feb. 8 for another CBSSN clash. Loyola extends its road trip on Feb. 11 at Richmond.

Loyola will have back-to-back Friday home games on ESPN with Saint Louis (Feb. 14) and Dayton (Feb. 21). Between the contests, the Ramblers will appear on CBSSN its first game of the season at Davidson on Feb. 18.

Home A-10 match-ups will conclude with George Washington (Feb. 26) and Davidson (March 5), while road games wrap up with Saint Louis (March 1) and Massachusetts (March 8). The final three games will all be aired nationally.

The A-10 Tournament is slated for March 12-16 in Washington D.C. at the Capital One Arena. A full schedule can be viewed on the league's website.
