• Conference play opened over the weekend with Loyola Chicago and Davidson. The Ramblers and Wildcats split the series.

Kate Maley recorded a career-high 11 kills, while
Bree Borum posted her sixth double-double of the season with 34 assists and 14 digs.

• In game one vs. the Wildcats, Loyola's middles stepped up big.
Ann Marie Remmes tallied a season-high 14 kills, while hitting .464.
Avary DeBlieck had six kills on nine attempts and recorded a career-high 10 blocks.
• Cvitkovic became the second Rambler this season with a double-double. She had 13 kills and 10 digs in the first match vs. Davidson.
• The Ramblers went 2-0 last weekend after beating UIC and DePaul in the Chicago Cup hosted by the Blue Demons.
• Over the two-match stretch,
Marta Cvitkovic led the Ramblers with 33 kills (3.67 k/s). She had a season-high 18 kills against UIC and another 15 at DePaul. She hit over .360 in both matches.

Bree Borum registered her first triple-double of the season against the Blue Demons. Borum tallied 10 kills, 44 assists, and 16 digs. It came off the heels of a 44 assist, 18 dig double-double vs. the Flames.

Amanda Berkley is in her seventh season at the helm. Her overall record with the Ramblers is 120-72.
SCOUTING SAINT LOUIS
The Billikens sit at 7-7 overall and opened A-10 play with a series sweep over Fordham to sit at 2-0 in a three-way tie for first in the standings. SLU hit .287 as a squad in the opening weekend and led the A-10 in assists with 14.13 per set. The Billikens were tabbed fifth in the preseason poll after finishing 16-16 overall and 8-10 in conference action.
Addy Brus was just named the A-10 Player of the Week following the team's series vs. Fordham. She averaged five kills per set and hit .353. She had 24 kills and 15 digs in a five set battle in match one followed by another 16 kills in match two. Nationally, Brus ranks 48th with 4.06 kills per set this season.
SERIES HISTORY
Loyola leads the all-time series, 14-6. Prior to joining the A-10, the Ramblers were 10-6 against the Billikens. Loyola has yet to drop a conference game against Saint Louis since joining the league. Last year, the Ramblers swept both meetings.
