FAIRFAX, Va. – The Loyola University Chicago women's basketball team was up upended, 69-39, by George Mason on the road Wednesday night. The Ramblers suffered from the host's 45-percent field goal clip while Loyola was 25-percent from the floor.
"Congratulations to George Mason on a fundamentally well-coached and well well-played game," said
Allison Guth. "Very disappointed in our team's effort. A season low in assists, most turnovers in a while - just unbelievably disappointed. So, congrats to George Mason. I think Vanessa Blair-Lewis is doing a great job. Their team's locked in, and they're playing great basketball."
