ORLANDO -  The Loyola Chicago cheer team has made its mark once again, placing seventh overall in the highly competitive Division I All-Girl Game Day Division at this year's Universal Cheerleaders Association national competition located at the ESPN World Wide of Sports in Orlando.

Transitioning from their previous Open All Girl Game Day Division, this impressive achievement marks their third top-10 finalist placement since they began competing in 2022, solidifying their reputation as a rising force in collegiate cheerleading.

The team's journey to the finals round was marked by determination and growth, advancing through a challenging semi-final round and boosting their final score by an impressive two points. Competing in a new division brought unique challenges and opportunities for the team, who rose to the occasion with their signature energy, precision, and school pride. This milestone highlights the program's steady growth and commitment to excellence both on and off the mat.

Since starting their competitive journey in 2022, the Loyola cheer squad has consistently demonstrated their passion and athleticism, earning recognition at the national level.
