CHICAGO, Ill. -- Loyola Chicago wrapped up its regular season home slate with a 1-1 draw against Rhode Island on Thursday, Oct. 23 at Loyola Soccer Park. The Ramblers move to 9-3-5 overall and 4-2-3 in Atlantic 10 play.
Coach Quotes: Jon Sandoval
"We were a little bit of a step behind tonight. The matches that we played over the last nine days or so caught up to us, and combined with a hungry Rhode Island team that came out with a good game plan and executed really well, it was a fair result. I thought we had a couple extra chances that we would've liked to put away, and maybe that changes the game, but nonetheless, it's a draw."
"Going on the road is difficult, and the table standings are very tight, so every point matters."
