CHICAGO - Loyola Chicago closes its west coast road trip with Santa Clara on Saturday. Tip-off between the Ramblers and Broncos is set for 4 p.m. CT in Santa Cruz at Kaiser Permanente Arena. Loyola dropped its last two, while Santa Clara won two of its last four heading into the weekend.

Saturday's game will be on BallerTV and can be listened to Rambler Sports Network with Scott Sudikoff (PXP) and Christian Thomas (Analyst).

RAMBLINGS
• For the second straight game, Xavier Amos led Loyola with 17 points and seven rebounds against San Francisco earlier this week. He went 5-12 from the field and 6-8 at the free throw line.

• The Ramblers are averaging 26.3 three-point attempts per game, which ranks third most in the Atlantic 10.

• Despite not recording a block for the first time in 26 games, Rubin is still one of the nation's top shot blockers. He ranks 10th in the NCAA with 30 blocks and 17th with 2.50 blocks per game.
• Head coach Drew Valentine is in his fifth season at the helm. He has compiled a 86-60 overall record as head coach.

SCOUTING SANTA CLARA
Santa Clara is 9-3 heading into Saturday's contest and has gone 2-2 over the last two weeks of action. The Broncos bounced back from a two-loss skid earlier this week with a 63-60 win over North Texas. Santa Clara is one of the nation's best offensive rebounding teams, averaging 14.92 boards on the offensive end to rank eighth in the NCAA.

Three Broncos average at least two offensive boards per game. Jake Ensminger leads with 2.78 per game. He pulls down 6.6 total rebounds per game to also lead the team.
