WASHINGTON – Loyola Chicago tabbed No. 3 in the Atlantic 10 Preseason Poll, the league announced on Tuesday morning. The Ramblers round out the top three, behind No. 2 Saint Louis and the preseason favorite, No. 1 Dayton.
Loyola earned its third-place position after going 16-10 in last year's regular season conference play and securing the three-seed in the 2024 A-10 tournament. The Ramblers advanced to the tournament semifinals after defeating Saint Joseph's in the opening round then Saint Louis in the quarterfinals before falling to eventual champions, Dayton.
No. 4 Fordham and No. 5 Saint Joseph's round out the A-10 top five teams, followed by Massachusetts, George Washington, George Mason, Rhode Island and St. Bonaventure.
The Ramblers kick off their season this weekend at the UNI Dome Tournament in Cedar Falls, Iowa where they take on North Dakota, Omaha, Northern Iowa and Drake.
