VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – On the second and final day of the 2025 Atlantic 10 Track and Field Indoor Championships at the Virginia Beach Sports Beach Center, James Lawrence secured his second title in as many days as he won the 3,000m behind a record-setting time. Additionally, five other Ramblers logged top-5 finishes across the day's events.
Lawrence was named the Atlantic 10's Most Outstanding Track Performer after clocking an 8:03.53 in the 3K to set a new meet record. It was his second title of the weekend after earning the 5K title the day prior.
Nate Boutin wasn't far behind Lawrence as he notched a spot on the podium, placing third with his time of 8:05.64. Jake Phillips finished eighth at 8:13.37 and Gabe Smit took 11th at 8:21.74.
Smit also competed in the mile and just missed a spot on the podium, taking fourth with his time of 4:11.00. Izak Bibile (4:19.62) finished 10th in a separate heat while Trent Anderson (4:19.74) took first in another heat.
In the women's mile, Emma Watcke (4:43.75) and Alessandra Rodriguez (4:44.89), who etched a new personal best, took second and third, respectively. Priscilla Ravera won her heat and finished 19th overall at 5:13.86 while Charlotte Wilson logged a PR (5:31.66) and took in 9th the same heat.
Samuel Field was seventh in the 800m finals with his time of 1:53.96, a few steps faster than his time during the trials yesterday.
Roisin Treacy landed second in the 3K with her time of 9:45.60. Aiden Grasse was 15th overall at 10:07.62 and Grace Kuhn was 11th in her heat with a time of 10:10.58. Alex Morris (10:11.47) took eighth in a separate heat.
In an extremely competitive conference, the Rambler men finished eight of 13 while the women took 13 out of 15.
