CSC Academic All-District Honors Awarded to Treacy, Boutin and Sanchez

GREENWOOD, Ind. – Loyola Chicago cross country and track student-athletes Roisin Treacy, Nate Boutin and Rodolfo Sanchez earned spots on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, the organization announced Tuesday. The honor recognizes student-athletes for their combined achievements in competition and in the classroom.

Treacy, an MBA student-athlete with a 3.67 GPA, earned All-Atlantic 10 honors with a runner-up finish at the A-10 Cross Country Championships, covering the 6K course in 20:39.8, before placing 22nd at the NCAA Midwest Regional. During the indoor track season, she recorded a runner-up finish in the 3K at the A-10 Indoor Championships (9:30.24). Treacy capped her career during the outdoor season with a runner-up finish in the 3K steeplechase at the A-10 Outdoor Championships (10:08.67) before competing in the same event at the NCAA Championships.

Boutin carries a 3.56 GPA as a marketing major. He earned All-Conference honors in cross country after placing sixth at the A-10 Championships with an 8K time of 24:04.0 and went on to compete at the NCAA Midwest Regional. During the indoor track season, Boutin earned runner-up honors in the 3K at the A-10 Championships with a time of 8:19.16. He then claimed the Atlantic 10 title in the 3K steeplechase during the outdoor season, winning the event in 8:50.05 before advancing to the NCAA Championships.

Sanchez holds a 3.92 GPA in Loyola's MBA program. During the outdoor track campaign, Sanchez earned All-Atlantic 10 honors with a third-place finish in the 1,500m at the conference championships and helped Loyola's 4x800m relay team secure a runner-up finish. He also recorded a personal-best 3:40.53 in the 1,500m at the Bryan Clay Invitational before advancing to the NCAA Championships, where he competed in the same event.

According to CSC, fewer than five percent of student-athletes across all sports and divisions earned Academic All-District honors in 2024-25. With the recognition, Treacy, Boutin and Sanchez advance to the Academic All-America ballot, with selections set to be announced July 14-15.
