CHICAGO - Loyola Chicago men's basketball earned a bid to the 2025 NIT Tournament. The 22-11 Ramblers head west to a 15-19 San Jose State squad on March 19. Tip-off is set for 10 p.m. CT and can be watched on ESPN2.

The winner will advance to the second round game slated for March 22 or 23 against the winner of San Francisco vs. Utah Valley. 

The Ramblers are fresh off an Atlantic 10 semifinal appearance. Loyola won it's first ever A-10 tournament game over Saint Louis in the quarterfinal, 72-64. Des Watson led Loyola with a career-high 25 points in the historic win.

This marks the second consecutive NIT appearance for the Ramblers and seventh overall as a program. Loyola has made six postseason appearances with head coach Drew Valentine on staff, three with him at the helm. The Ramblers reached the NCAA Tournament in his first year as head coach.
