- The Ramblers snapped a seven-game losing streak with their first Atlantic 10 win over Saint Joseph's, defeating the Hawks, 7-1, on Sunday, March 23.
- Senior pitcher Peyton Pepkowski recorded her 600th career strikeout in game one of the series against Saint Joseph's on March 22, becoming just the second Rambler in program history to meet that milestone. Pepkowski already has 63 strikeouts under her belt this season.
- Junior outfielder Sierra Sass, who is the current A-10 leader in batting average, leads the team at the plate with a .452 batting average and in on-base percentage with a .521 average.
- Two Ramblers have recorded home runs this season; Hickey leads with three, a career-high, and rookie Alli Pawlowicz has recorded two for her career-high.
- Head coach Alicia Abbott clinched her 100th career win in the Maroon and Gold after Loyola defeated St. John's, 2-1, on Feb. 14 in walk-off fashion.
- Loyola tabbed No. 3 in the Atlantic 10 Preseason Poll, raking in 84 points, for its second straight season in the league's preseason top three.
SCOUTING REPORT
The Blue Demons are 12-16 overall and 1-8 in Big East play so far this season. Senior Addison Talbot and sophomore Lydia Ettema are both batting above .300, with .340 and .314 averages, respectively, and Talbot has recorded the most multi-hit games among the Blue Demons with six. Inside the circle, pitcher Bella Nigey holds the lowest ERA (1.84), ranking her second in the Big East, and with 47 strikeouts she's tied for fifth in the league.
