CHICAGO - Loyola Chicago closes the regular season at home this weekend with a three-game series vs. George Washington. The Ramblers are on a six-game win streak after sweeping their last two series on the road. The wins at George Mason helped Loyola clinch a spot in its third straight Atlantic 10 Tournament.

QUICK HITS
- Loyola is coming off a 3-0 series sweep at George Mason, which marked the Ramblers' fourth conference series sweep of the season and second straight. Loyola shutout GMU in the first two games, 1-0 and 8-0, and came back for a 6-4 win in the closer.
- Six Ramblers recorded three or more hits in the series. Skyler Croker and Sierra Sass had four each, including a triple by Sass. Croker went 4-8 at the plate with two runs scored.
- Peyton Pepkowski tossed both shutouts and got a save in the series. Pepkowski finished the weekend with 15 strikeouts, eight in game one and seven in game two.
- The series sweep helped the Ramblers clinch a spot in the Atlantic 10 Tournament for the third straight season. Two more wins will also mark the third consecutive season with at least 20 wins for Loyola under head coach Alicia Abbott.
- Pepkowski continues to be a strong presence in the circle for Loyola, tossing 166 innings this year and ranking 14th in the country in the category. Her 36 appearances ranks 28th, five shutouts sits 18th, and 139 total strikeouts ranks 43rd.
- Haley Wallace remains as one of Loyola's top offensive players, ranking second on the squad with a .317 batting average. Wallace in on a 23-game reached base streak. The last eight games are by at least one hit tallied in each. She's second on the team with 10 multi-hit games. She had two hits in each game against UMass two weeks ago.
- Loyola will honor is five seniors in Andie Broniewicz, Bella Crimaldi, Riley Owens, Pepkowski, and Wallace.
SCOUTING REPORT
George Washington sits fourth in the A-10 standings with a conference record of 14-9. Overall, GW is 30-18 and face a 7-9 road record heading into Hoyne. The Revolutionaries lead the league and rank 46th in the NCAA with 74 doubles, while their 344 hits sits at second in the A-10. They're also at the top of the conference with a 2.67 ERA, ranking 26th in the country.
Ashley Corpuz is the top Rev and best in the A-10, batting .397 this season. She has 16 of the team's doubles, which is 18th in the country, while her 15 homers is 50th nation-wide. In the circle, Anna Reed has made a team-leading 23 starts. She holds a 2.15 ERA over 124 innings pitch. Reed has six shutouts and 114 strikeouts this year.
SERIES HISTORY
Loyola leads the all-time series, 4-2. The Ramblers fell 2-1 in last season's series. In game one, Loyola bested GW in six innings, 10-0. The Revs bounced back with a 6-5 and 7-5 pair of wins.
