CHICAGO - Loyola Chicago heads to its third straight Atlantic 10 Tournament under head coach
Alicia Abbott. The Ramblers claimed the No. 6 seed and will take on No. 3 Fordham in the opening game. This season's tournament is hosted by George Washington in Washington D.C. and is double elimination with the championship slated for Saturday, May 10.

- Loyola closed its home season against George Washington last weekend. The Ramblers dropped the series, 2-1 (L, 10-9 / W, 3-2 / L, 2-0).
- Despite the game one loss, Loyola's bats combined for 11 hits. Haley Wallace and Nat Lesnicki had three each. Wallace scored three while Lesnicki brought home three.
- In the 3-2 win, Wallace stay hot, bringing in two RBI. She scored the go-ahead run on a solo homer in the fifth.
- Wallace's efforts this season were honored with an All-Atlantic 10 Second Team nod. She is second, batting .329. Wallace leads the team in runs (32), hits (50), doubles (11), and RBI (23).
- Alli Pawlowicz had a break out season for the Ramblers, taking home an A-10 All-Rookie award. She ties Wallace's team leading 23 RBI this season, including two games with four.
- Loyola's got a pair of veteran pitchers in the circle in Peyton Pepkowski and Andie Broniewicz. Broniewicz leads the team with a 4.15 ERA with Pepkowski just behind at 4.25.
- Over 174.2 innings of work, Pepkowski has 147 strikeouts and five shutouts. She became the second pitcher in Loyola history with 600 career strikeouts and has held her opponents to a .228 batting average over the four seasons.
- Broniewicz has 69 retired batters over 114.2 innings of work. She's given up the fewest hits (133) and has a shutout under her belt.
RAMBLERS IN THE A-10 TOURNAMENT
- This marks Loyola's third straight A-10 Tournament appearance, earning the No. 6 seed.
- The Ramblers won their first two games last season against Saint Joseph's (7-1)and Saint Louis (8-4) before falling to Dayton (2-0) and SLU (7-6)Â to end their time ahead of the championship game.
- Loyola made a splash in its first season in the A-10, claiming the No. 2 seed and a first-round bye. The Ramblers downed Dayton (7-1) on day two before falling to George Mason (3-0).
- The Ramblers then played three straight extra-inning battles to force a winner-take-all championship. Loyola bested the No. 1 seed Saint Louis in nine innings (7-5), took down George Mason in game one of the championship with a walk-off homer in the eighth (3-2). GMU came away in the 10th to claim the title (6-3).
