EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – Loyola Chicago rallied from a 1-0 halftime deficit to secure a 2-1 win over SIUE on the road Thursday night (Sept. 11) at Ralph Korte Stadium.
The Ramblers (2-1-3) found the back of the net twice in the final 15 minutes to earn the come-from-behind victory.
How it Happened
Moments after Liam O'Donoghue registered Loyola Chicago's fourth shot of the half, SIUE struck first when Evan Howard scored in the 45th minute off a feed from Archie McDonnell, just before the teams broke for the locker room.

Just seconds after Loyola's equalizer, SIUE was reduced to 10 men with a red card. The man advantage paid off quickly, as the Ramblers struck for the go-ahead goal in the 78th minute. Ben Bischoff delivered the game-winner, finishing a setup from Benji Chavarria for his first tally of the season.
