CHICAGO - Loyola Chicago is set to face Dayton for the second time this month on Friday. The Ramblers and Flyers will tip0off at 7:30 p.m. CT in Ohio. The Ramblers look to snap a four-game skid, while the Flyers looks to stay undefeated in A-10 action.

• Loyola battled George Mason down to the final minutes to start the week, ultimately falling to the Patriots, 82-74. The Ramblers led by as much as 12 in the first half and trailed by just two with 2:02 to play

Nic Anderson exploded for a career-high 17 points on 6-15 from the field with two threes. Anderson is now on a three-game double-figure scoring streak after scoring 13 against both Davidson and George Washington last week.

Kymany Houinsou contributed a season-high 15 points. He was 6-6 from the field and finished with six assists and three boards.

Joshua Ola-Joseph (10) wrapped up double-figure scoring efforts. It marked the third time this season Loyola had at least five players score 10 or more points.

Caleb Reese and Anderson got their first career starts against the Patriots. Both have stepped up amid injuries to the Rambler squad. Reese is averaging around 25 minutes per game over the last three games, while Anderson logged a career-high 34:44 minutes vs. GMU.
• In conference play only, the Ramblers have tallied the most offensive boards with 63 and rank second in the A-10 with 12.6 offensive boards per game.

Miles Rubin has 13 of those 63 on the offensive glass, which ranks 16th. He's averaging 7.4 total rebounds per game through Loyola's first five A-10 games.
• Rubin's block total is up to 45, ranking 7th in the country and first in the A-10. His blocks per game average (2.50) ranks 14th in the nation and first in the A-10. Rubin has recorded two or more blocks in 14 of Loyola's 18 games.

SCOUTING DAYTON
The Flyers are 13-4 overall and 4-0 in A-10 play heading into the weekend. They've won four straight over Fordham, Loyola, George Washington, and Duquesne to tip-off conference action. Dayton forces the most turnovers per game (16.59) in the A-10 and rank ninth in the country. The Flyers also lead the A-10 and rank 15th in the NCAA with 9.8 steals per game.
De'Shayne Montgomery is ninth in the country, averaging 2.76 steals per game. He's also second on the Dayton squad in scoring average (14.7). Javon Bennett leads the Flyers with 16.6 points per game. He's scored at least 10 points in all but two games, including the last eight. He had 24 on Jan. 3 with the Flyers took on the Ramblers at home. Â
Anthony Grant is in his ninth season with Dayton. He has a 185-87 record at the helm.
SERIES HISTORY
The Flyers lead the all-time series, 27-17. Dayton narrowly won in Gentile earlier this month, 70-68. Moore, Dotson, and Rubin were all in double-figures. Rubin had a double-double with 10 points and 11 boards.
