CHICAGO – Loyola Chicago softball announced the Ramblers' 2026 schedule, featuring four early-season tournaments, a challenging nonconference slate and eight Atlantic 10 series that culminates with postseason play in May.
Loyola opens the 2026 campaign on the road, beginning with a five-game weekend at the SDSU Kickoff from Feb. 6-8 in San Diego, Calif. The Ramblers will face Kentucky, San Diego State, Minnesota and Miami (Ohio) during opening weekend.
The Ramblers continue tournament play the following weekend at The Spring Games in Leesburg, Fla. (Feb. 13-15), where Loyola is set to take on Southern Miss, Alabama State, Bethune-Cookman and Long Island University.
Loyola will then head to Mobile, Ala., for the South Alabama Invitational (Feb. 20-22), facing UT Martin, North Alabama, South Alabama and West Georgia. The Ramblers close out February at the Wolfpack Classic in Raleigh, N.C. (Feb. 27-March 1), with matchups against Toledo, Lehigh and host NC State.
March features a mix of nonconference and A-10 play, beginning with a midweek contest at UNC Greensboro on March 3. Loyola travels to Dayton to open conference play March 7-8 and stays on the road to face Indiana (March 10).
The Ramblers have an eight-game homestand, hosting the Saint Louis Billikens, University of Washington, St. Bonaventure and DePaul between March 21-April 1. Loyola gets back on the road to meet Saint Joseph's (April 3-4), Wisconsin (April 8) and Rhode Island (April 11-12).
Conference play continues against George Washington (April 18-19), at George Mason (April 25-26) and versus Fordham for the regular season finale at Hoyne Field on May 2-3.
Postseason play begins with the Atlantic 10 Championship, scheduled for May 5-9 at Saint Louis University. NCAA Regionals are slated for May 15-17.
