Loyola Opens Two-Game Trip at Fordham

CHICAGO - Loyola Chicago plays its next two games on the road. First up for the Ramblers is a Wednesday night match-up in the Bronx against Fordham. Tip-off between the Ramblers and Rams is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT.

Wednesday's game will be on ESPN+ and can be listened to Rambler Sports Network with Scott Sudikoff (PXP) and Christian Thomas (Senior Analyst).

RAMBLINGS
• Justin Moore led the Ramblers with 12 points, while Daniil Glazkov scored a career-high 11 points in Loyola's lone game last week against No. 18 Saint Louis.
• Glazkov's performance marked his first double-digit effort of the year. He finished with six rebounds, one assist, and one steal.
•The sophomore guard is third on the team in scoring this month, averaging 8.7 points per game. He scored six in Loyola's win over La Salle, followed up with nine at Davidson, and scored the 11 vs. the Billikens.
• Deywilk Tavarez surpassed 1,000 career points against Saint Joseph's on Jan. 27. He has 1,227 points and counting and 227 in the Maroon & Gold. Two more Ramblers are approaching the milestone. Moore has 921 career points. He has 297 as a Rambler. Miles Rubin has 833 in a Loyola uniform.
• Rubin continues to be a force at the rim, leading the A-10 in both blocks (61) and blocks per game (2.35). Rubin needs six more blocks to take over third on the single-season charts. Rubin will then own the top-three spots in the record book.
• Rubin is also the team's top rebounder this season. He has 193 total rebounds which ranks third in the A-10 and 96th in the country. His 7.4 rebounds per game and 5.15 defensive rebounds per game each rank fourth in the conference.
• Head coach Drew Valentine is in his fifth season at the helm. He has compiled an 89-71 overall record as head coach.

SCOUTING FORDHAM
The Rams are 14-12 overall and 5-2 in the A-10 after winning their last two games. Fordham beat Saint Josephs' and Rhode Island last week to move up to 10th in the league standings. The Rams hold their opponents to the fewest points scored in the conference, 65.1. They rank 16th in the NCAA in scoring defense. Fordham ranks third in the conference in field goal percentage defense (.418).

Dejour Reaves leads the A-10 in scoring with 17.2 points per game. He's scored double-figures in every game this season, including six 20-point games and one 30-point game. Reaves dropped a season-high 31 points against St. Bonaventure. He's made a least three field goals in every game this season, ranking 52nd in the nation with 168 made this year.

Head coach Mike Magpayo is in his first season with the Rams.
