Loyola, Saint Joseph's Set for Saturday Matinee

CHICAGO - Loyola Chicago wraps up a two-game trip this Saturday at Saint Joseph's. The Ramblers and Hawks meet for the second time this season with an 11 a.m. CT tip-off. Loyola looks to even the regular season series.

Saturday's game will be on ESPNU with Eric Duick (PXP) and Noah Savage (Analyst) and can be listened to Rambler Sports Network with Scott Sudikoff (PXP) and Christian Thomas (Senior Analyst).

RAMBLINGS
• The Ramblers nearly pulled off a 19-point comeback win at Fordham earlier this week but fell to the Rams, 62-59.
• Xavier Amos led Loyola with 19 points after going 10-14 at the free throw line. He also grabbed eight rebounds. Both were season-highs.
• Miles Rubin joined him in double-figures with 14 points on 7-8 from the field.
• Alexander Richardson recorded a team-leading 10 rebounds, while Justin Moore led the Ramblers with six assists.
• Moore scored a team-high 12 points, while Daniil Glazkov scored a career-high 11 points in Loyola's lone game last week against No. 18 Saint Louis.
• Glazkov's performance marked his first double-digit effort of the year. He finished with six rebounds, one assist, and one steal.
•The sophomore guard got his first career start at Fordham after three solid games of play to open February. Glazkov's career-high 11 points vs. SLU followed a six point, six rebound outing vs. La Salle and a nine-point, five rebound performance at Davidson.
• Deywilk Tavarez surpassed 1,000 career points against Saint Joseph's on Jan. 27. He has 1,244 points and counting and 244 in the Maroon & Gold. Two more Ramblers are approaching the milestone. Moore has 933 career points. He has 309 as a Rambler. Miles Rubin has 853 in a Loyola uniform.
• Rubin continues to be a force at the rim, ranking second the A-10 in both blocks (61) and blocks per game (2.26). Rubin needs six more blocks to take over third on the single-season charts. Rubin will then own the top-three spots in the record book.
• Rubin is also the team's top rebounder this season. He has 195 total rebounds which ranks fourth in the A-10 and 100th in the country. His 7.2 rebounds per game and 5.04 defensive rebounds per game each rank fourth in the conference.
• Head coach Drew Valentine is in his fifth season at the helm. He has compiled an 89-72 overall record as head coach.

SCOUTING SAINT JOSEPH'S
The Hawks are 16-10 overall and 8-5 in A-10 play. Saint Joseph's dropped two of its last three, rebounding with a 71-65 win at St. Bonaventure earlier this week. The Hawks return to Hagan Arena where they're 10-3 this season. SJU is one of the top rebounding teams in the A-10, ranking third with 39.15 rebounds per game. Currently, the team ranks second in defensive rebounds per game (26.88) and third in offensive rebounds per game (12.27).

Jaiden Glover-Toscano leads the Hawks with 15.4 points per game. He's currently on a seven-game double-figure scoring streak and has 19 total games with 10 or more points. Glover-Toscano notched 20+ points on nine occasions, including a season-high 29 points vs. Arcadia. St. Bonaventure was the first team this season to hold him without a three-pointer made. He went 0-7. Glover-Toscano is third in the A-10 in three-point percentage (.357).

Head coach Steve Donahue is in his first season leading the Hawks. He holds a 347-354 record over his 24-year career.
