FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Loyola University Chicago women's basketball earned an at-large bid to the Women's National Invitation Tournament (WNIT), the organization announced following the NCAA's Selection Sunday.
Loyola Chicago will play Norfolk State in the first round this Saturday (March 21) at 1 p.m. CT in Norfolk, Va.
The Ramblers ended the 2025-26 regular season 14-17 overall and 9-9 in Atlantic 10 play. Loyola finished eighth in the league and concluded the campaign with an A-10 Championship win before falling to the eventual champion, (RV) Rhode Island.
Loyola will be competing in its first-ever WNIT.

The WNIT, founded in 1998 and operated by Triple Crown Sports, provides a postseason opportunity for teams not selected to the 68-team NCAA Tournament. The 48-team tournament includes automatic qualifiers and at-large selections in a bracket similar to the NCAA format.
