CHICAGO -- The Atlantic 10 conference tabbed Loyola Chicago's
Nat Lesnicki as the Player of the Week for the second time this season, announced by the league on Monday afternoon.
Hailing from Plainfield, Ill., Lesnicki helped lead the Ramblers to their fourth A-10 series of the season with a sweep at Rhode Island. Through Loyola's last four games, she averaged .533 at the plate and totaled 12 bases, eight hits, six RBI, one double and her third home run this year.
Lesnicki, who's on a five-game hitting streak, ranks second in the league in batting average (.402) and hits (49), and is fifth in OPS percentage (1.026.). The weekly award marks the second of her career and third overall for the Ramblers this season.
Loyola hosts George Washington on Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19 for the Home Run Derby and Alumni Day.
