CHICAGO -- Loyola Chicago women's soccer is excited to announce its newest addition, assistant coach Camryn Hart. After spending one year at Purdue Fort Wayne, Hart joins head coach Jon Sandoval and assistants Brady Moody and Sean Palacios on the coaching roster.
Before her stint in Fort Wayne, Ind., Hart began her collegiate coaching career as a graduate assistant at Ithaca College from 2023-2024. The Bombers finished the 2024 season at the top of the Liberty League, sporting a 14-3-4 overall record, and earned the program's first-ever No. 1 seed in the conference tournament. Ithaca went on to win its second Liberty League Tournament title in three years, clinching an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament. It marked the Bombers' 30th appearance in the tournament. The team's coaching staff was named the Liberty League Coaching Staff of the Year following an exceptional run.
During her time in South Hill, N.Y., Hart coached six All-Region selections, 15 All-Conference honorees and 39 All-Academic student-athletes. She earned her master's degree in exercise sport science with a concentration in mental performance from Ithaca in December 2024.
Hart competed collegiately at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, making 24 starts in 58 appearances with five goals and six assists. The team earned two bids to the NCAA Division III Tournament bids during her career. In her final season, the Eagles finished with their best record in program history (21-2-1) and went undefeated in league play, clinching both the WIAC regular season and conference tournament titles. Hart was a three-time WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll recipient; she received her bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in sociology in 2022.
The Sun Prairie, Wis. native served as the assistant varsity soccer coach at Central High School in La Crosse from 2021-2022. She was the head coachfor the U19 girls team at Syracuse Development Academy from 2024-2025, competing in the Girls Academy League.
