CHICAGO – Loyola Chicago women's soccer head coach Jon Sandoval signed three student-athletes who will join the Ramblers in spring 2026. The latest signing class includes two transfers, Olivia Beam and Josslyn Weissman, and one class of 2026 early graduate previously announced this fall, Riga Kallaba.

Beam arrives at Loyola as a 5-foot-7 defender pursuing her MBA after spending three seasons at crosstown rival DePaul. A two-time Big East All-Academic honoree, she logged early experience as a freshman with 14 appearances and 13 starts, totaling 1,193 minutes. She added a 90-minute start as a junior before redshirting. In high school, Beam was named First Team All-Conference and a Missouri Athletic Club All-Star.
Sandoval on Beam: "Olivia is a mature, steady presence on the backline who brings valuable Division I experience and a strong competitive edge. Her commitment to excellence, both on the field and in the classroom, aligns perfectly with our program's values. We're excited for the impact she'll make as she steps into our defensive unit."
Riga Kallaba | Midfield | Chicago, Ill. | Jones College Prep
Kallaba signed with Loyola earlier this fall and will join the Ramblers next spring after graduating early. The Chicago native is currently playing on the Kosovo U19 National Team in the European qualifiers; she's been a recurring talent on the roster since she was 15 years old. Kallaba is a 5-foot-2 playmaker in the midfield who's not afraid to take a strike. She will pursure a business major at Loyola.
Sandoval on Kallaba: "Riga's early arrival is a tremendous boost for our program, and it speaks to her ambition and readiness to compete at the next level. She's continued to grow through her experiences with the Kosovo U19 National Team, and we're thrilled to integrate her skillset into our midfield this spring. Riga's drive and attacking instincts will make an immediate impact as she begins her collegiate career."
Josslyn Weissman | Midfield | Minneapolis, Minn. | Breck School
Weissman joins the Ramblers after a strong freshman campaign at Manhattan, where she appeared in all 18 matches and recorded seven points on three goals and an assist. She added eight shots, including five on target, and delivered one game-winning strike while accumulating 542 minutes in the midfield. A 5-foot-4 playmaker, she was a decorated high school standout with All-State First and Second Team honors and multiple all-conference selections. Weissman will pursue a psychology major at Loyola.
Sandoval on Weissman: "Josslyn is an exciting addition to our midfield with her energy and ability to influence the game in the final third. She's coming off a promising freshman season and has the drive to keep elevating her play. We're thrilled to welcome her to Loyola and look forward to her growth in our system."
