In its final road trip of the regular season, Loyola Chicago heads to George Mason for its sixth Atlantic 10 series of the season on Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26. The Ramblers have the potential to clinch at least a share of the A-10 regular season championship this weekend.

- Loyola currently sits atop the conference standings after clinching its fifth A-10 series of the season with a sweep over George Washington. The Ramblers defeated the Revolutionaries 4-2, 5-4 (10 inn.) and 7-1.
- Freshman pitcher Anna Kiel (9-5) was named the A-10 Co-Rookie of the Week, marking the first weekly honor of her career and fourth overall for the Ramblers this season. The southpaw went 1-0, pitching 7.1 innings and giving up zero earned runs while striking out three. She also contributed at the plate, averaging .667, going 1-for-1 in game two and hitting a career-high 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs in the series closer.
- Kiel leads Loyola's bullpen with a 2.94 ERA, good for ninth in the league, while her freshman counterpart Katie Geydoshek has the team-high 51 strikeouts, placing her 10th in the league.
- Redshirt junior Liz Sedakis and junior Nat Lesnicki lead the Ramblers' offense with 28 and 27 RBIs, respectively. Lesnicki is No. 3 in the A-10 in putouts (274).
- Redshirt junior infielder Abbie Gregus leads the league with 11 runs caught stealing, placing her 29th in the country.
- The Ramblers were picked to finish sixth in the A-10 Preseason Poll, receiving 38 points.
- Loyola returned 13 letterwinners and welcomed eight newcomers, including six true freshmen and two transfer students.
SCOUTING REPORT
Currently sitting fifth in the conference standings, George Mason is 25-20 overall and 9-9 in A-10 action, securing series wins over Fordham, St. Bonaventure and Saint Louis. The Patriots are on a three-game winning streak. Senior catcher Logan Pickford leads George Mason at the plate with a .358 batting average, good for eighth in the league. She's also the team leader in hits (48) and runs scored (36), placing her second in the A-10 in both categories. Sophomore pitcher Abbey Lane (10-6) is the bullpen leader with the team-best 2.85 ERA and 71 strikeouts. She paces the A-10 with 134.2 innings pitched.
SERIES HISTORY
Loyola leads the all-time series 9-5 with George Mason, meeting for the first time in 2020. The Ramblers have won the last four games against the Patriots, and last season, Loyola swept the series at George Mason, including two shutouts.
