Five Golfers Named CSC Academic All-District

GREENWOOD, Ind. – Five Loyola Chicago golfers were named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team selections, per the organization's announcement earlier this week.
 
Grace Hui, Madison Haugen, and Cassie Psuik represent the women's team, while Sebastian Kasun and Dori Lee landed on the men's team.
 
This marks Hui and Lee's first honor and second straight for Haugen, Psuik, and Kasun.
 
Hui posted a 3.67 GPA this year as an honors biomedical engineering major. At the A-10 tournament, the Ramblers were led by Hui, who finished the event in second place with a score of +10 (+4, +3, +3). Hui's runner-up finish was her career-best and was her third career top 10. She finished the year with a 78.2 scoring average.
 
Haugen holds a 3.79 GPA as a healthcare administration major. Over 32 rounds played for Loyola, she posted an 80.9 scoring average. Haugen landed in the top 10 at WMU Bronco fall Classic with a score of +17 (+6, +6, +5) for her best finish of the season. She also placed in the top 20 at the A-10 Championship.
 
Psuik wrapped up the year with a 3.57 GPA as an accounting major. She posted the second-best scoring average on the team at 78.3 and had four top 10 finishes on the year. Psuik opened the season in 10th place with a +5 score at A-Ga-Ming Invitational. Later, she placed ninth at WMU Bronco Fall Classic. Psuik closed the year with a sixth-place finish at Dolores Black Falcon Invitational and ninth at the A-10 Championships.
 
Kasun capped his senior year with a 3.73 GPA as a finance major. He was named All-Conference after playing 33 rounds for Loyola, and he posted a 72.6 scoring averaging. He led the Ramblers in five events this year that was highlighted by two top 10 finishes. He had a season-best finish at Lake Jovita Invitational to open spring action in February. Kasun placed seventh with a -7 score.
 
Lee finished the year with a 3.81 GPA as a finance major and a 73.6 scoring average for the Ramblers. He had four performances that placed in the top 20 for Loyola. He capped the season with a +2 score at the A-10 Championships to take 15th on the leaderboards. His best score fell in the season opener, finishing -5 at Golfweek Fall Challenge. He placed 16th in the event.
