CHICAGO – Loyola Chicago women's volleyball unveils its 2026 schedule. The Ramblers will play 13 matches on their home court in Gentile Arena with the remaining 15 regular season matches on the road or neutral territory.
The Ramblers are coming off their second straight and third overall Atlantic 10 Championship after downing VCU for the title back on Nov. 23.
Loyola will play two road exhibition matches to start action in August. The Ramblers head up to Green Bay on Aug. 15 before a quick trip to Northwestern on Aug. 22.
Regular season play opens at Iowa State with a three-game slate Aug. 28-30. Loyola will take on Iowa State, UNI, and Georgia Tech in the tournament. All three teams had 2025 NCAA Tournament appearances. The Cyclones put together a 23-8 record and made it to the second round, while the Panthers posted a 16-0 conference record on their way to a sweep of the regular season and tournament titles in the MVC.
The Ramblers then head to Stephen F. Austin where they'll play SFA on Sept. 3 and Cal on Sept. 4. SFA won the Southland Conference last season, but fell to the Ramblers in a five-set battle in the Loyola Invitational.
Loyola's home debut will take place on Sept. 10 with Southeast Missouri State, marking the second match of the annual Loyola Invitational. The Ramblers will also play Bradley (Sept. 11) and Alabama A&M (Sept. 12).
The annual Chicago up will close non-conference play. Loyola plays host to UIC on Sept. 17 before heading to DePaul on Sept. 18.
Atlantic 10 play opens the following weekend with three-straight home matches. Loyola will play VCU Sept. 25-26 and a single match vs. Saint Louis on Sept. 29. The Ramblers will also host Fordham (Oct. 30-31) and George Mason (Nov. 6-7).
The Ramblers will face Rhode Island (Oct. 3-4), Duquesne (Oct. 9-10), Dayton (Oct. 23-24), Saint Louis (Oct. 27), and George Washington (Nov. 13-14) on the road this season.
The A-10 Tournament is scheduled for Nov. 20-22 with the location to be announced at a later date.
