CHICAGO — Loyola Chicago has officially announced its cross country schedule for the 2026 season. The Ramblers are set to compete across a premier regular season slate before embarking on their Atlantic 10 and NCAA postseason campaigns.
Loyola opens the fall season on Friday, Sept. 4 at the Lewis Early Bird meet in Romeoville, Ill. Two weeks later, the Maroon and Gold head to the Notre Dame National Catholic Championships in South Bend, Ind. on Friday, Sept. 18. The program's marquee event comes on Friday, Sept. 25, when Loyola hosts the 47th annual Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational along the shores of Lake Michigan at the Sydney R. Marovitz Golf Course.
October brings more elite national exposure as the Ramblers gear up for championship season, starting off at the Wisconsin Nuttycombe Invitational in Madison, Wis. (Oct. 9) then to Peoria, Ill. for the Bradley Pink Classic and Pre-Nationals on Friday, Oct. 16.
The postseason begins at the Atlantic 10 Championships on Saturday, Oct. 31, hosted by Richmond, where Loyola will challenge for league titles. Qualifying athletes will advance to the NCAA Midwest Regional, hosted by Iowa State, on Friday, Nov. 13. The season culminates at the NCAA Championships on Saturday, Nov. 21 in Terre Haute, Ind.
