CHICAGO -- In the Ramblers' Atlantic 10 home opener, Loyola Chicago and La Salle finished in a 1-1 draw at Loyola Soccer Park on Thursday, Sept. 25. The draw moved the Ramblers' record to 4-2-4 overall and 1-0-1 in A10 play.

"It was a disappointing way to end the match. I thought we battled hard but once we scored, we lost our footing a bit. La Salle put us under pressure in the last 10 minutes, and we need to execute better in those moments in order to earn all three points."

How it Happened
Sophomore middie Mary Fornelli scored her first career goal in the 47th minute, assisted by the senior tandem of Maggie Schmidt and Zoe Hevey. The Explorers found a way to even the match with a goal of their own in the 87th minute.
