NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- Loyola Chicago lost in straight sets to Cal on Friday, Sept. 5 at the SFA Tournament. Sophomore outside Leyna Nguyen finished with 10 kills to lead the Ramblers' attack and added seven digs to help the defense, which was led by senior middle Avary DeBlieck with five blocks.
Juniors Sam Falk and Mallory Bohl were picked to the SFA All-Tournament Team.

How It Happened
SET 1 | The Ramblers found themselves in an early deficit, dropping the opening set 25-21. It was the closest set of the match, seeing tied five scores before Cal grabbed the lead for good at 14-13.
SET 2 | Loyola fell behind 2-0 after losing the second set 25-16. Nguyen had three kills and Jae Fitting served one ace in the frame.
SET 3 | Cal completed the sweep with a 25-14 final set. Nguyen recorded six kills, her most in any set.
