2019: Made an immediate impact as a freshman, earning MIVA All-Freshman Team accolades … Captured a spot on the Off the Block Freshman All-America Team … Totaled 140 kills (2.30 per set) over the course of 61 sets … Finished fourth on the team with 19 service aces, including the team’s second most in non-conference play (15) … Started at opposite in the first 18 matches for the Ramblers … Had five matches of double-digit kills, all of which resulted in Loyola victories … Finished the season with 39 blocks and had 19 from January 18 through February 2 (0.90 per set) … Began his career with nine kills and a season-high 11 digs versus No. 4 UC Irvine (Jan. 4) … Notched his first match of double-digit kills with an 11-spot in Loyola’s lone neutral-site match of the season against Mount Olive (Jan. 11) … Ran up four service aces in his team’s sweep of UC San Diego (Jan. 19) … Had his best match of the season at No. 11 CSUN (Jan. 25), posting a match-high 15 kills, on .524 hitting, in the Ramblers’ sweep … Notched a season-high five blocks at No. 10 UC Santa Barbara (Jan. 26) … Scrapped together an 11.5-point night (nine kills, one ace, three blocks) against No. 5 UCLA (Jan. 31) … Slapped 13 kills and four blocks (on solo) at Lindenwood (Feb. 9) … Ripped 11 kills in a comeback victory at McKendree (Feb. 21) … Had his 10th and final 10.0-plus-point match at Grand Canyon (March 8) with seven kills, three aces and three blocks … Named to the MIVA All-Academic Team.
