2014: Saw action in all 19 games, making 12 starts as a freshman...notched the game-winning goal in his collegiate debut, a 2-0 victory over Dayton (8/30)...also scored the game-winner in Loyola's 3-1 win against Drake (11/12) in the opening round of the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament...fired 31 shots on the season, a mark which ranked second on the team...recorded a season-best five shots against both Bradley (9/27) and DePaul (10/1). High School/Club Level: First Team All-State, All-Area and All-Conference selection following a senior season that saw him score 22 goals and dish out 13 assists...a standout on the club level for Team Evanston where he helped lead the club to an Illinois State Cup Championship in 2012...earned the Golden Boot award at regionals during the same year after scoring six goals in three games...helped the club to a first-place finish in the National Premier League (NPL) in 2013...son of Rambler great Joe Cappuccitti...All-Academic. His father, Joe, is one of the all time great Men's Soccer Alumni and John has some big shoes to fill. Without a doubt he has the talent, and we are hoping that he will someday beat his father's goal scoring feats. John is another high character individual who will work hard to be a great, student-athlete & teammate. He is a dangerous, athletic forward who has a knack for scoring goals. We are excited that John is finally a Rambler."
