Converted from the penalty spot as part of a 4-0 win over Drake (Oct. 8) ... Dished out assists in victories against Valparaiso (Aug. 27) and DePaul (Oct. 4) ... Closed the year with 10 shots, putting two attempts on target.

2015: Started in all 19 games ... Second Team All-Missouri Valley Conference selection ... Found the back of the net twice as a sophomore ... Provided the game-winning goal from the penalty spot versus Florida Atlantic (Sept. 13) ... Also tallied a goal in a win over local rival Northwestern (Oct. 27) ... Provided the assist on Jacob Thoreson's game-winner of in-state foe Northern Illinois (Oct. 21) ... Fired 19 shots on the year, a mark that ranked fourth on Loyola's roster.

2014: Started in all 19 contests, playing in every minute of every game as a freshman ... Missouri Valley Conference Freshman of the Year ... Also earned a spot on the league's All-Freshman Team ... Converted from the penalty spot at Central Arkansas (Oct. 25) and Evansville (Nov. 1) ... Finished the year with 12 shots, firing a season-best three attempts against in-state rival Northern Illinois (Oct. 4).

High School/Club Level: Played exclusively on the club level for Sockers FC Chicago under coach David Richardson ... A force in the offensive third, tying for second on the team in goals and leading the way in assists ... Played a major role in helping the team capture both a State and Regional Championship during his time with the club ... Took part in a training session with Leicester City F.C. of the Football League Championship in the England.

Coach Jones on Thomson: "Kyle is a local player who has come up through the Sockers Development Academy system. He's a player with a very high soccer IQ and is someone who just loves the game. We see Kyle playing somewhere in the midfield, and his greatest strengths are being a player who connects the dots well, has great vision and has a deadly left foot on set pieces. We know that Kyle will have a fantastic athletic and academic career at Loyola."
