2019: Tallied 121 blocks (1.13 blocks per set), the sixth most by a Rambler in single-season history... Finished as the MIVA leader in blocks per set, a clip that finished ninth in DI-II... Followed up his junior season with another phenomenal year on the attack, clubbing the second best attack percentage in the MIVA at .451 (third nationally)... Captured AVCA All-America Honorable Mention recognition... Named Second Team All-MIVA... Named to the MIVA Championship All-Tournament Team... Awarded Off-The-Block National Middle Blocker of the Week (Week 1)... Tabbed MIVA Defensive Player of the Week (Feb. 19)... Set career highs in total blocks, solo blocks (16), kills (211) kills per set (1.97) and assists (12)... Completed his career with 325 total blocks, 35 of them solo... 2018: Continued to develop into one of the top middles in the MIVA, leading the team and ranking fourth in the conference with 1.07 blocks per set (107 total blocks) … That average ranked 15thin NCAA Division I-II … Appeared in 100 sets and led the team with a .462 (159-21-299) hitting percentage … Totaled 159 kills (1.59 per set), 31 digs, 10 assists and seven service aces … Loyola went 6-0 when he slammed down eight or more kills, including a 3-0 ledger when he reached double digits … Had seven matches of six or more blocks … Opened the year with a bang, blasting a season-best 12 kills, hitting a scorching .857 (12-0-14) and tallying seven blocks in a win at No. 3 BYU (Jan. 5) … Collected 10 kills and two assists in a win against No. 13 USC (Feb. 3) … Turned away 10 attacks, a season high, and added seven kills in a victory versus Quincy (Feb. 9) … Starred in a five-set decision over No. 4 Ohio State (Feb. 24), contributing 10 kills and five blocks, while hitting a sparkling .643 (10-1-14) … Had six kills on only eight swings in a win at No. 7 Pepperdine (March 10) … Hit .750 (9-0-12) with nine kills and three blocks in a win at McKendree (March 31) … Put up seven kills, six blocks, two digs and an ace in a MIVA semifinal victory versus No. 11 Ball State (April 18) … MIVA Academic All-Conference selection.
2017: Had a breakthrough season in his first extended action as a Rambler … Played in 104 of the team’s 105 sets and ranked second on the team with a .341 hitting percentage (149-41-317) and a 0.90 blocks per set average (94 total blocks) … Had four matches with double-digit kills with all of those coming in the first nine outings of the season … Hit 1.000 (5-0-5) in the season opener against No. 2 UCLA (Jan. 3) … Put up a season-high 12 kills and added six blocks, three digs and three aces in a victory over No. 3 BYU (Jan. 7) … Equaled a season high with 12 kills and added a season-best four digs to go with five blocks versus No. 5 Pepperdine (Jan. 13) … Crushed 10 kills and hit .643 (10-1-14) in a sweep of Harvard (Jan. 14) … Recorded seven kills and a season-high eight blocks versus Lindenwood (Feb. 3) … Hit .909 (10-0-11) in a three-set sweep of Quincy (Feb. 4) … Registered six kills and seven blocks in a win over Saint Francis (March 24) … Named MIVA Defensive Player of the Week on March 28 after totaling 14 blocks (2.0 per set) in wins over Saint Francis and No. 13 Penn State … Contributed nine kills and hit .692 (9-0-13) at Fort Wayne (April 6) … MIVA Academic All-Conference Team honoree.
