High School: One of the top players in the state of Indiana, he led Muncie Central to the Sweet 16 of the IHSAA Class 3A Tournament in 2011-12, averaging 15.0 ppg, 10.6 rpg and 1.6 bpg ... Gobbled up a multitude of honors as a senior, including Muncie Star Press Athlete of the Year, First Team Indiana Basketball Coaches Association All-State, First Team All-North Central Conference and Associated Press Indiana All-State Honorable Mention ... Became the second Rambler recruit in as many seasons, joining Joe Crisman, to be selected for the prestigious Indiana All-Star Team, which featured notables such as Gary Harris (Michigan State), Yogi Ferrell (Indiana), Kellen Dunham (Butler), Ron Patterson (Indiana), Austin Burgett (Notre Dame) and Ronnie Johnson (Purdue) among others ... As a junior, put up 16.6 ppg and 10.1 rpg and was rated as high as the No. 2 prospect in the state of Indiana.
