2016: Started 13 matches and saw action in 57 sets … Hit .246 (181-77-423) with 181 kills (3.18 per set), 77 digs (1.35 per set) and 49 blocks (0.86 per set) … Recorded double-digit kills in nine of his final 10 appearances of the season, topping the 20-kill plateau three times … Had a pair of double-doubles … In a 3-1 victory over Quincy finished with 20 kills, six digs and six blocks (March 19) … Notched his first double-double of the year with 12 kills and 10 digs, to go with six blocks, at Saint Francis (March 25) … Smashed a season-high 22 kills, hitting .447 (22-5-38) with eight digs and three blocks, in a win at No. 10 Penn State (March 26) … Tabbed MIVA Defensive Player of the Week following his performances at Saint Francis and Penn State … Followed that up with 21 kills and a season-high 11 digs in a five-set victory over No. 13 Lewis (March 29) … Finished the season strong, averaging 3.53 kills per set over the final four matches … Blasted 18 kills and pitched in four digs, three blocks and three aces in a win against No. 8 Ball State (April 9) … Contributed 15 kills and five blocks in a MIVA Tournament victory over Quincy (April 15) … Fell a dig shy of his third double-double of the year with 13 kills and nine digs versus No. 12 Lewis in the semifinal round of the MIVA Tournament (April 20).
