2023: Recorded 10 or more kills in all but five matches this past season, including seven matches of 20 or more kills ... Tallied a season-high 28 kills on the road at then No. 3 Long Beach State early in the season ... Ranked second in the conference and fifth nationally with 4.12 kills per set ... His 4.93 points per set were the fourth highest in the country while his .464 aces per set were the second-most in the conference … 3x MIVA Offensive Player of the Week ... Preseason All-MIVA … First Team All-MIVA … Second Team AVCA All-American.

2022: Received AVCA All-America Honorable Mention accolades ... Named the MIVA Newcomer of the Year ... Selected to the All-MIVA First Team ... Collected five MIVA Offensive Player of the Week awards and four Off The Block Freshman of the Week awards throughout the season ... Only missed six sets for the Ramblers this season, starting in 89 of the team's 95 sets ... Finished the season ranked fourth in the NCAA in kills per set with 4.37 ... Ended his freshman season with a team-high 389 kills, the third-most in school history for a freshman ... Also contributed a total of 111 digs and 53 blocks ... Had one of the best offensive performances in the NCAA against Daemen (March 13) as he had 31 kills across four sets while hitting .521 (31-6-48) ... Of the 24 matches he played in this season, Van Buren had double-digit kills in 19 of them, and six of those matches he earned 20+ kills ... Earned eight blocks against NJIT (Jan. 15) ... High School: Named Big 8 Conference Player of the Year, First Team All-Big 8 Conference and first team all-state as a senior in 2019 … Set a Middleton High School single-season record with 509 kills and owned a .467 attack percentage … Picked up second team all-state and first team all-conference honors, while also being recognized as Middleton High School’s team MVP in 2018 … Helped Middleton to a state runner-up finish in 2018 …Registered 906 kills in his high school career and served up 53 aces as a senior … Played club for Milwaukee Volleyball Club, which finished 10^th at the national tournament in 2018.
