Began that streak with a 2-for-4 day that included the game-winning single in the top of the ninth inning against Indiana State (April 15) ... High School: Had a prolific career at Downers Grove South High School, where she sported a .375 (166-for-443) batting average ... Four-time All-West Suburban Conference Gold honoree ... Struck out only 35 times in 443 career at-bats ... During her sophomore season, emerged as a dominant hitter, batting .398 (47-for-118) with a career-best eight home runs, while adding 33 RBI ... Had a remarkable junior campaign, slugging three homers and knocking in 30 runs, while batting a career-best .423 (47-for-111) ...
