Jordan McCann

Jordan McCann begins his fourth season as an assistant coach with the Loyola Chicago women's basketball program in 2025-26. A Chicago native, McCann spent the previous four seasons on the coaching staff at Iona College.

During his stint in New Rochelle, N.Y., McCann aided in both the recruitment and development of six All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) selections.  That group was headlined by 2021-22 MAAC Defensive Player of the Year Juana Camilion, who became the first Gael in program history to take home the league's top defensive honor.

McCann has also made stops as an assistant coach at the University of Bridgeport, Colorado College, Hamilton College, and St. Thomas University.

McCann, who resides in Chicago with his wife, Nia, graduated from the University of Illinois in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in recreation, sport, and tourism before earning a master's degree in sport administration from St. Thomas University in 2014.
